Complaint Tracking

To meet Federal Regulations, a record of the written student complaint and its disposition will be maintained. All written student complaints received by the College of Charleston will be tracked.

Logs will include the following elements:

  • identification of student submitting written complaint;
  • student status (Undergraduate, Graduate, Other);
  • type of complaint (Academic, Nonacademic);
  • date received;
  • office responsible for resolving complaint;
  • nature of complaint;
  • status of complaint;
  • resolution/outcome/decision;
  • date complaint closed;
  • confirmation of written notification of dispositions; and
  • other comments.
